Sermon Series “Meeting Jesus at The Table”

You’re invited to join Rev. Daniel as we Meet Jesus at the Table.
Each week, we will examine one of the gospel stories in which Jesus shares meals, with friends, and sometimes with foes whose goal is to trip him up. We’ll be skipping around from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
But Lent has a way of slowing us down, of inviting us to hear familiar stories with new ears. These stories take us to different tables and locations through the Lenten season, indoors and outdoors, among friends and strangers, in moments of abundance and moments of deep uncertainty.
Dinner Church 1st Sunday of the Month
Dinner Church is a relaxed, welcoming way to gather for worship around a shared meal. We begin with a free dinner, then sit together around tables rather than in rows. Instead of a traditional sermon, there is a brief reflection followed by guided table questions, inviting conversation, listening, and shared wisdom. Communion is passed around the tables. It’s worship shaped by community—simple, hospitable, and participatory.

We meet in a laid-back setting to explore life’s big questions, share stories, and wrestle with faith in an open and judgment-free space. Whether you’re deeply rooted in your beliefs or just curious, there’s a seat at the table for you. Come as you are, grab a drink, and let’s talk about the things that matter.
